Could be. Still, a pretty strong reaction. I think it’s because Krows remembers being there, once upon a time. I bet Drew recruited him in the same way. Painful memories coming to the surface, you know?
D: Wow, Krow is reacting strongly to that face. I’m on the same boat as Alexi. I wonder why…
Also, it’s quite interesting to see Schtein in an environment where he’s pretty much hopeless. And even though he’s going to be a super villain, I can’t help but love him. Then again every villain is a hero, aren’t they?
I dunno, Schtein is a complete jerk with strong sociopathic tendencies. He has to have some personality improvement before he deserves anything nice happening to him for one and chances are high that someone this much of a tool would fuck up something good happening to him for two. That leaves us with a long, downward trip.
Ouch! that head to the nose looks desperate but it’s awesome to see that Schtein has some fight in him!
the coloring and shading in this page is great btw :)
I can’t help but feel a little sorry for Krow :S is that odd? Can’t help but see him murdering his wife, or something. I feel sorry for doc too, of course. Poor him, nothing ever goes right. I’m in love with that second panel though, great movement, and a split second of doc not looking pathetic (in a good way, of course). Thanks for the regular updates!
Aw MAN how’s the doc gonna get out of this one? 8C
I had a hard time figuring out that Krow was the one speaking in the last panel (I thought Doc’s head…Idunno, overpowered??)–that grey diagonal bar, I thought it was a panel and… anyway! I got it in the end.
Krow obviously has some kind of emotional issue with Schtein’s pleading.
I think this could be interesting. Of course, now that everyone’s distracted at Krow’s outburst, the Doc will try to take advantage of it?
That, or he’s out like a light.
Go get em doc! Or make a speedy retreat!…er whichever D:
XD Really little things in this page amuse me, like Schtein’s hair in the 2cnd and 6th panels, and how Krow reminds me of Jervis Tetch. But I seriously think thats just me >.>
That look just tore my heart to pieces. And his face getting beaten to the bloody ground gaaaaah mygoodnessIcanttakethisnoooooo. And I love his expressions in the second and third panel :D
I find that the rather irregular update schedule induces some intense stalking.
In a same way how bingo and lottery tickets and slot machines may get some people addicted. It’s the same thrill when looking the twitter on Tuesday to see if she has started working on the weeks page already.
That is: the author is getting more popular by this way than by just scrupulously uploading a page every wednesday 21.00.
I wondered whether Krow would do something when I saw him on the last page since he looked so…unenthusiastic in contrast to the bald, grinning goons. Love those little details. 8D
oheeeey… just realized that there might be some significance to “Jesus, Krow!” Like how in O, Pioneers!, a random passerby says “my God, girl” to Alexandra, and Alexandra is some kind of nature goddess archetype. So, either Krow is a messiah archetype and gonna do epic, or I’m majorly over-thinking things.
I expect Schtein at this point is about five minutes from tearing some dudes’ throat out with his teeth and explaining, calmly, that he can kill you and you can’t kill him, unless you want to make the warden angry. So don’t fuck with him, and he won’t have to kill you.
I’ve realized that for a comic about a supervillian, gosh, Schtein, a supervillian, what a sight. You’ve seen so much of his human side before you even get to that stage. He reminds me of Dr. Horrible, but instead a big jerk. Billy’s too nice to stand for that. Yes, Schtein reminds me of chicken and Dr. Horrible. :O Is epic, no?
But anyways, it goes from the point where dear old Schtein would be recalling to someone who has a laser or ray or beam or something or another up against their head, and he’s like, “I guess it started back when I got these eyes…”
Poor Doc, so many people touching him.
aw, this kinda makes me sad.
:c
Ouch…
Drew’s got a knife. I hoped Schtein would pull out his weapon and that’d even the odds. No such luck, his predicament grows worse by the second.
Wonder why the rat-faced person reacted like that. Is it something to do with old memories?
Might just be because of his freaky eyes.
Could be. Still, a pretty strong reaction. I think it’s because Krows remembers being there, once upon a time. I bet Drew recruited him in the same way. Painful memories coming to the surface, you know?
mm, yeah, I bet it is that.
Man, the lighting on this page is so nice.
It’s full of ORBS.
(clearly the prison is haunted by haints)
We gotta call some ghost bros on this one
I like how the ‘KILL’ on bald guy’s knuckles in panel 6 really reinforces the point, haha.
D: Wow, Krow is reacting strongly to that face. I’m on the same boat as Alexi. I wonder why…

I believe he doesn’t like pitiful pleading puppy eyes on some weird glowy creep.
Perhaps it could be just that, but I wont’ rule out anything else, either.
I dunno, Schtein is a complete jerk with strong sociopathic tendencies. He has to have some personality improvement before he deserves anything nice happening to him for one and chances are high that someone this much of a tool would fuck up something good happening to him for two. I can’t wait. :D
Ouch! that head to the nose looks desperate but it’s awesome to see that Schtein has some fight in him!

Ouch. Just ouch.
….at least he has gloves…. Poor Schtein.
Makes me wonder: how much of a beating can those bio-mechanical eyes take?
Actually, they could be even more resistant than natural ones, for all we know.
And today is the day he discovers their secret laser function!
Now WOULD be a pretty good time, woun’t it?
I can’t help but feel a little sorry for Krow :S is that odd? Can’t help but see him murdering his wife, or something. I feel sorry for doc too, of course. Poor him, nothing ever goes right. I REALLY love Doc’s face in pannel 3!
Gggrruuhhh, i wanna know what happens sooo bad!!!
okay OKAY first time for me posting here. just to say THIS ALMOST BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE. Poor Schtein. :”’c
Aw MAN how’s the doc gonna get out of this one? 8C

8C POOR DOC
I was also thrown by “Krow,” especially since a common curse is “Jesus Crow!”
Krow obviously has some kind of emotional issue with Schtein’s pleading.
I think this could be interesting. Of course, now that everyone’s distracted at Krow’s outburst, the Doc will try to take advantage of it?
That, or he’s out like a light.
ooooh, now I’m curious about Krow!
Oooo I am suddenly very interested in why Krow (who I had previously nicknamed Ratnose Scarface for some reason) reacted like that.
Also, jesus skinhead man. Why you gotta be such a jerk?
Chapter 2, page 43 was the last prison sex JOKE. Now it’s for reals.
Omg. The second to last frame just breaks my heart. Poor Schtein! He’s about to turn into human jerky. D:
‘Quit squirming, Doc…’ brings me back to some of those lovely prison rape episodes in OZ.
Go get em doc! Or make a speedy retreat!…er whichever D:
XD Really little things in this page amuse me, like Schtein’s hair in the 2cnd and 6th panels, and how Krow reminds me of Jervis Tetch. But I seriously think thats just me >.>
Maybe the reason for Krow’s reaction, is that he sees himself in Schtein. Meaning that Krow had the same icky prison thing happen to him.
I hope it does not happen to Schtein though. :(
Definitely, I think Krow is growing more interesting by the minute. Now I totally want to find out more about him.
That look just tore my heart to pieces. And his face getting beaten to the bloody ground gaaaaah mygoodnessIcanttakethisnoooooo. And I love his expressions in the second and third panel :D
I am reeeeeally praying someone comes to his rescue.
Gosh, your pages are always so gorgeous.
(Hate to bother you, but would it be possible for me to use some of your art as avatars on another site? I’d credit you, of course)
yeah, that’s totally fine by me. Do you need any of the art to be larger for editting purposes?
Haha, no, it’s great how it is, thank you so much!
Woah. This page both hurts and captivates. OH NO SCHTEIIIIN!
Panel 6 breaks my heart D:
this comic is like a drug, cna’t wait for more updates :D

Sawshank Redemption cutscene time!!!
LOL….what were those dudes called? the sisters or something?
The literal “headslam” right here.
Poor Schtein.
Of all the things to fixate on, yeah, yeah but: the hand clutching his hair, with KILL on the knuckles.. wow that is such a well drawn scene!
Shank him Stein!
Oww… that was brutal.
Oh man, poses! The poses on this page are so fabulous. Even if you have a difficult time drawing action scenes, I think you do it wonderfully.
I wondered whether Krow would do something when I saw him on the last page since he looked so…unenthusiastic in contrast to the bald, grinning goons. Love those little details. 8D

I cheered at the second panel. He is going to get beaten anyway, might as well fight back.
lol have you ever heard the expression jeezum crow? or are you being insanely clever with a play on words?
I expect Schtein at this point is about five minutes from tearing some dudes’ throat out with his teeth and explaining, calmly, that he can kill you and you can’t kill him, unless you want to make the warden angry. So don’t fuck with him, and he won’t have to kill you.
Put a guy far enough into a corner. . .
Good luck, Doc!
I have started to like Krow here.
