Page Twenty-one
Spent a stupid amount of time putting little details in the background. Been a while since I drew station 12, so I had to look at references for his apartment and the walkways the whole time. >:P
Oh hey, it’s Osgood. Heavens!
Oh, I should mention. One person actually guessed what’s wrong with Dr. Schtein. Not gonna say who or what, though.
..Suspense!
The backgrounds look great, and I really love the shadows on their clothes.
Right now I’m just praying that Osgood runs into Marcus. That’s all I want. (No it’s not)
I really love that Delia’s staring at the family portrait for some reason. Maybe I’m just tired and easily amused.
Also, the backgrounds here are gorgeous.
I love all the tiny pieces of crap on Schtein’s floor. And the fact that there’s a salt shaker randomly on the bookshelf. What is that even doing there?
And… Do we get to find out what’s wrong with Schtein in the next update? I don’t know why but I am super curious hahaha
Also I just wanted to thank you, I had kind of a lousy day and getting a cool comic cheered me up :D
Maybe the salt shaker’s for tequila? :V
It’s not a salt shaker, guys. C:
Is it a pill bottle, then?
Yes.
second to last panel, Is that what I THINK it is!!
what, the cat toy?
I knew it!
Awww, a cat toy! I love the little details you spent time on drawing. Hey, is that clothes-pegs in the window? Awesome. XD
Love the family portrait. <3
I missed Delia D:
Now I’m really curious to see how she’ll handle that new “fact” xP
Oh snap! I would’ve thought she would make the connection earlier, surprised no one told her he’s deceased, wow! Now all that’s left on my brain is….who’s taking care of Marcus?
I wanna see Marcus again he’s so cute, I wonder who’s been taking care of him while Schtein’s supposidly dead
Whoa, they sorta messed up not telling Osgood that Schtein was dead. I mean even if he didn’t phone her, that’s the kind of loose end you don’t want hanging around.
Yah Delia! I love her look of reflection in the last panel.
Dear me, look at all them little baggies on the floor. Wonder what those could be full of?
Hmm…;)
It’s candy. Everyone keeps candy in little baggies, right?
Ah yes, how foolish of me. Everyone keeps their special candy in little baggies. Thanks for clarifying.
Also, holy crap I’ve just realized my old history teacher has just about the same name as Osgood, just an extra letter. You even say it the same way. Now I have to sneak into her room and draw a leering Schtein on her white board.
Man, it’s good to see Delia again.
Saaave him, Osgood!
The backlighting on her is so nice, yet so subtle, in that final panel!
Oh Marcus, please don’t already be hauled away to some inaccessible place by these people… D: Also, I *so* can’t wait to find out what Schtein’s sickness is all about. The anticipation’s killing me (in a good way)!
Osgood! I missed her. This page is beautiful!
this is completely irrelevant, but was Osgood’s ear always as low as it is in the last panel?
eugh no, I made a mental note to fix that before I started coloring the page and I guess it got lost somewhere in my brain.
haha, don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. I actually didn’t notice it until I started thinking about it. You know, kind of like fridge logic, just without the fridge filled with beer. :)
I’m not too worried. I usually do any okay job with face proportions, but man, sideviews are tricky. Especially ones with open mouths for some reason. I obviously need to take some anatomy refresher courses. Been meaning to do that anyway.
Yesss comic incentives I am so excited
Too many comments to see who got it right, damn. Bet the meds on panel 5 might have helped him out.
I LOVE that one of Schtein’s turn-ons is a woman being a cynical witch. Fantastic, and his look of shy interest… :3
Alternately, maybe, his looking at her rear…
A bit of both!
If Schtein imagined about the ghost, it should have been in monochrome? In his perspective…
That’s debateable. Hallucinations are produced in the brain, not the eyes, and he does have far more memories of Langstrom being in color than in black and white.
