Oh man, your lettering with Phin’s torture fantasies is just. Man. I was holding my breath.
Also, I love how Doc and Phin are actually outside of that last panel.
And another thing about that last panel: is it just me, or SHIPPING FUEL?
Hahaha! That’s just it: I don’t really wanna, but I can’t help it! My mind is too dirty.
The cannibal doesn’t do much for me though, but that sweaty goblin face guy? I love him. So much.
Okay, I’m officially terrified of Phineas. Around page 39 of this chapter I finally learned to love his insane character, and seeing him bite a chunk out a guy’s neck was the cherry on top. But with this scene came the inevitable realization that he really is one scary sonuvabitch. I can feel the panic and mad glee oozing off this page (as well as the last) and I am beyond impressed. Hats off to your writing and character building, Phineas is one fantastic psycho.
And anyway, are we sure his track record of snitching has nothing to do with being tortured by a serial killer? I’d certainly take the “pragmatic coward” option over the “playmate for Finny” option.
Phineas, you give me the best kind of chills, sir. I am terrified by you and at the same time I find you utterly fascinating. This strikes me as rather unhealthy…
On the other hand, the lighting on these pages are just…they are glorious. You are fantastic. Completely fantastic. Also hands. HANDS. I love how you do hands.
I know this may be a vain hope, but I would very, very, very much like to see Phineas playing with Jayballs.
Aslo: Another great page. Kudos to the artist. Especially impressive considering the quick update pace.
P.S.
Phineas is a rather unusual type of whackjob. Most sadistic psychopaths have a sexual motive for torturing humans. That or they just enjoy hunting humans and killing them. Rare is the one who finds great joy simply in the act of causing excruciating pain. Surprised Phinny wasn’t fantasizing of raping Schtein’s eyesocket or something.
Seeing as he can not feel pain- would not put it past him to cut himself up just to see the blood come out and feel the “not feeling it” sensation. In the event he gets board and is with no one else to cut on or what ever else he does.
The expressions in this page are just mind-blowing. The angles, the expression. YOU WIN, MA’AM.
I’m afraid the background in the last two panels is throwing me, like the characters and camera moved, but the corner of the room doesn’t match up? I’ll study it summore.
I continue to explicitly believe the psycho nutjob’s tales of Jayjay’s guilt without proof! He certainly wouldn’t be saying these things simply because he enjoys torturing people not just physically but psychologically as well!
I wanted to pop back in and say how much I love the way you’ve built up Finn. When we first meet him, he’s a little weird, and his biggest claim to fame is that he “made a judge throw up.” Then Jayjay adds on some details…and each scene just adds incrementally until we arrive HERE and realize what a horrible dangerous creature he is.
@ Emily: I think he looked slightly feminine before to seem… less threatening? But now that he’s in his full creepy glory he can do away with the girlishness.
No kidding. It’s hard to tell whether Schtein is bothered more by Phin’s creepy psycho rant or by all that touching. Although…maybe by now he’s gotten used to getting randomly grabbed in every which place. If prison cured him of that, there’s one silver lining, I guess.
Hey, long time reader. Love the comic :D I really like the pace you’ve been setting with the story. Just thought I’d give you my two cents and point out that the transition on this page between panels 4 and 5 is a little rough. On panel 4 I understand that’s Finn’s hand on Schtein’s mouth, seeing as how his hands are chained to the chair, but it took me a second. In the 5th panel Finn is pretty far away from Schtein, very suddenly. Even though we get that nice shot of his tools, I still feel like it’s a bit of a jump.
Otherwise, lovely coloring. The dark shed-like building, with daylight poking through the holes is a very nice touch.
I must say I did very much enjoy this panel (and NOT purely for the reason I said in comment on Eli’s response).
You did a MARVELOUS job capturing what goes through a very much insane person. The movement from panel to panel is logical and flows nicely. Stein’s reactions to Phineas’s dialogue and movements are perfect. With the exception of the 4th panel where he has his eyes closed. I think his brows should be furrowed just a bit more. As it is now he looks too calm, almost as if he were sleeping and not closing his eyes in an attempt to “wish himself away”.
I forget who pointed it out, but the very last panel they are OUT of the panel. Good job spotting that mate. I like the effect of them being out of the panel because it creates a zooming affect for the reader. (Much like in an intense moment of a movie the person will get closer to the screen and the background/scenery will get farther away). Nicely done!
There are a lot of characters like Phin, and I’ve read a LOT of comics/books/what-have-you, but he is the first one to ACTUALLY make my skin crawl. Fantastic, FANTASTIC job. I freaking love your comic.
I have got to be one of few that truly enjoys and finds Phin attractive… And after admitting that, I feel a psychiatric evaluation should be the next scheduled appointment on my calendar ^^;
You know, this just makes me wonder even more about Phin’s wife. She hasn’t even been revealed yet, and if he’s one scary sunovabitch, I can’t even begin to comprehend how fantastically dark she is.
You guys, I think we’re headed down a rabbit hole. Hold onto your skirts!
I really hope the people making jokes about cannibalistic-torturing-madman and asshole-germaphobe-mad-scientist are really just joking. Because the alternative just makes me too sad to bear.
On the other hand, this comic makes me feel really vulnerable (Jesus Christ, that arteries line) and I think I’m going to put on a scarf to protect my neck from prying eyes even though it’s super hot out.
I’m sorry but
unf.
Am I…. admitting some sort of moral weakness if I say I agree with this statement?
Something about being in a VERY dangerous situation… and the prospect of fighting to get out is REALLY attractive to me..
Unf indeed. Phin is fabulous~
Ew, Phin, your tongue looks gross. :c
I would probably rather be anywhere than where Schtein is right now. Woah.
Oh man, your lettering with Phin’s torture fantasies is just. Man. I was holding my breath.
Also, I love how Doc and Phin are actually outside of that last panel.
And another thing about that last panel: is it just me, or SHIPPING FUEL?
Shipping fuel everywhere. 8]
GASOLINE ON THE FIRE!!
Noooo… dudes, no. Didn’t you read any of the speech bubbles? D:
well if you want to ship the gross cannibal with the sweaty goblin face guy then knock yourself out, hahah <:D
Hahaha! That’s just it: I don’t really wanna, but I can’t help it! My mind is too dirty.
The cannibal doesn’t do much for me though, but that sweaty goblin face guy? I love him. So much.
You have no idea of how much fun a well written crack!fic can be. :D
Ohgosh don’t give me ideas…
Aw yeah, now to get the detonator back!

Yay! and now they’re gonna elope together. holding hands and such…
You know what I still like Jayjay. Because he’s not Phineas.
And anyway, are we sure his track record of snitching has nothing to do with being tortured by a serial killer? I’d certainly take the “pragmatic coward” option over the “playmate for Finny” option.
I still like Jayjay too– but I like Phin as well. I can have my cake and eat it too :U
I just like my cake serial-killer-free!
Wow…just wow…
That was intense.
And awesome. Can’t wait ta see what happens next with them…THEY GONNA RAISE SOME HELL!
Phineas, you give me the best kind of chills, sir. I am terrified by you and at the same time I find you utterly fascinating. This strikes me as rather unhealthy…

who said it wasn’t sexual?
*shivers*
Now don’t say stuff like that. You’re ASKING for dirty fan fictions…
http://www.ragemaker.net/images/Miscellaneous/oh%20god.png
I’m pretty sure Jayjay mentions Phin and his wife did sexual things to the bodies of those they tortured and killed
Officially afraid to sleep.
Phin’ll get me. D:
same here!
All those scars on Phin’s arms… I wonder if they’re self-inflicted or not.
Seeing as he can not feel pain- would not put it past him to cut himself up just to see the blood come out and feel the “not feeling it” sensation. In the event he gets board and is with no one else to cut on or what ever else he does.
half self inflicted, half accidental.
Are those cigarette burns on Phins’ tongue? Oh boy, whatta Sadomasochist :3c
nah they’re like scars from biting it accidentally. Can’t be a masochist if you can’t feel pain. Sadist, though, for sure.
The expressions in this page are just mind-blowing. The angles, the expression. YOU WIN, MA’AM.
I’m afraid the background in the last two panels is throwing me, like the characters and camera moved, but the corner of the room doesn’t match up? I’ll study it summore.
AW MAN STRING THEORY IS AWESOME.
(poor Jayjay)
I continue to explicitly believe the psycho nutjob’s tales of Jayjay’s guilt without proof! He certainly wouldn’t be saying these things simply because he enjoys torturing people not just physically but psychologically as well!
I. ****ING. LOVE. PHINEAS.
OHMYGOD. Lady boner. <3
Looking over the last few pages, a LOT of people seeem to have the hots for Amastus.
The psychotic, sadistic serial killer and cannibal. Who has his own torture dungeon.
No accounting for taste, I guess.
Nah, he’s just sexy lookin’.
Naw we just may simply be alot of really ****ed up people .___.
Oh I love psychotic people. <3

You rock.
Let’s play doctor! Rawr ;D
kinky… OwO
Wha-?!
I thought JayJay was going to come with him out to the wastes?!
Character development, plot development, THINGS ARE DEVELOPING HERE!!!
If Finn is suggest what I think he is suggesting may mind might just exploded… is freedom in the future? :D
Unless he plans on giving Herville false hope before yanking that neck-strap tight.
This strip is the greatest :D but fuck you jayjay.
whoopsy I didn’t censor that )’: sowwy world.
…stop watching Wes Craven.
Are you trying something new with Phineas’s character design? Because those first three panels are GORGEOUS, but he looks different to me somehow.
@ Emily: I think he looked slightly feminine before to seem… less threatening? But now that he’s in his full creepy glory he can do away with the girlishness.
He looks either fatter or buffer, not that I can tell which. And thats just what I think;
He’s got way more of a jawline, anyway. Ages him a bit. Still a huge creeper though..
Poor Schtein. So much touching…
Armastus is as creepy as I have *ever* seen him…but did he suddenly get more muscular?
Everyone’s growing muscles lately! The cafeteria must’ve been serving spinach that week.
No kidding. It’s hard to tell whether Schtein is bothered more by Phin’s creepy psycho rant or by all that touching. Although…maybe by now he’s gotten used to getting randomly grabbed in every which place. If prison cured him of that, there’s one silver lining, I guess.

I looove Phin in the first panel. So, so much. But at the same time, he scares the crap out of me.
ARGH DO NOT SHIP- DO NOT SHIP
hyhtgrfedw
No one should should ship anyone with Phin :C Love this page though!
Wait. This means … Are we never going to see Jay-Jay again? NoooOOO
I must say I did very much enjoy this panel (and NOT purely for the reason I said in comment on Eli’s response).

I love the range of emotions Phin goes through evreytime he interacts with anyone or any thought.

The art in this one is amazing; you’re getting better and better, and it’s nice to see the constant growth
In the fourth panel, I imagine Phineas muttering to himself like a psycho. Well, I mean, he IS a psycho, but you know what I mean.
You know, this just makes me wonder even more about Phin’s wife. She hasn’t even been revealed yet, and if he’s one scary sunovabitch, I can’t even begin to comprehend how fantastically dark she is.

All I have to say is rule 34 man.
Oh god this comic puts me in sheer ecstasy.
