I wonder if Langstrom is getting the same treatment. If he is, I’m sure he’s not too worried. He’s a professor at a university, so it’s not like this is his only job. Schtein’s been down there for fifteen years. He’s never had another job, and he hasn’t been outside of the station in about ten years. How do you put secret government work you signed a contract not to talk about on a resume?
Does he have to leave the cat as part of his secret government contract?
First fire him, then ask him to do good work in the last few weeks. Not a good motivation method.
They have to let the scientific geniuses be messy!!!
Hey, government employees can’t be fired unless they refuse to do their work or steal from the workplace. Even if the project was shut down they’d be forced to find him another position.
Or maybe that’s just in sunny, employee rights-protecting Sweden. >_>
