Heeheehee…my speculations get more and more proven with every page… And hey, at least someone there actually gives a damn. Go Dr. Peterson! I swear, every page it gets harder to wait for the next one. Amazing storytelling!
Dr. Peterson is a nice enough guy, he just has some people after him so he’s hiding out in the desert. Collections agents! They’re gonna break his legs. Maybe literally.
The first page of String Theory that I read was the one where Dr. Peterson made his first appearance. So nice to see you back, man.
Although the idea of 3 year old Schtein is…. uh… unfathomable almost. I wonder what he was like back then. Probably speaking in full sentences and reading Wolfram or something.
The Red Plague! Terry Pratchett obscure novel “squeeee” moment.
It’s hard to have a good reason for destroying a city. I mean, at best what you get in movies is the “we have to stop the outbreak” scenario, where they nuke the town, and he probably initiated that type of quarantine, or one of a similar “enthusiasm”.
So far from the dialogue about it, Von Schtein’s reason for destroying a city was either a moment of insanity, or one of horrible negligence which he himself may/may not have been directly responsible for. Still, it’s open ended, and the writing in this comic is great, so I could end up being surprised and completely wrong, and happy about it.
Maybe he was trying to prevent nuclear war? I hear wiping out a city is good for that. But it’s better to use a giant psychic squid; that was probably Granpa Schtein’s mistake.
Really really love the story telling. And the reminder that even weak little cowards can have their dangerous moments. Dr.Schtein is like a necrotic albino rabbit. Nobody pays attention to how bloody vicious those timid furry lunch meats are.
I like this new tool of expositon of yours, what’s his name? I especially like how you made him look somewhat evil yet he is the nicest guy seen in a long time, fuck Disney
Homely people are evil. Hollywood says so. The only times they aren’t evil is when they were Beautiful All Along or they’re the hero’s sidekick who gets killed so the audience knows Things Are Getting Serious.
Dear God, every page that passes I find Schtein more and more attractive! By the end of this comic, I’m going to have a creepy full length Schtein pillow or something. D:
You know, ever since I first saw the doctor (The heavy-set guy with the stubble. Sorry, I forgot his name.) I could automatically see him with the voice of Harvey Fierstein. Yes… If String Theory would be a cartoon, Harvey Fierstein would be his voice actor.
Hey! I just read straight from the beginning in what? Three hours? Thank you for drawing this AMAZING webcomic! I love it. Schtein is wonderful and Marcus is just awesome. Can’t wait for the next paige… (Besides, I was reading during work, maybe that ‘s the reason it took me three hours ^^)
You know, I always just called it germaphobe.
Now I know what it’s actually called and can describe my brother appropriately.
Poor little Schtein! :(
he’s so teeny looking here!

Hey, I like the look of that guy in the scrubs. He looks like he’s been desensitized to the prison and everyone in it.
I assume that he’s just a minor character that we won’t ever see again, though. Oh well. P:
Yep. :D
I am more and more intrigued with each update.

so obscure I don’t know what you’re talking about. :I
3 year old schtein was… well, not what anyone expects, I bet. :y
At least someone cares enough to clean Schtein up a bit.
thank god, too, he was really starting to reek like rotten onions.
Panel 4 = ultimate nerd pose has been struck!
Someday we may even figure out just WHY he wiped out Chicago. Perhaps he had a good reason.

Omigod yes. Yes for the Watchmen reference. You are my hero. :D
Well, “having a good reason” is subject. Just because you think it’s a bad idea doesn’t mean I do…
a good reason. Hahah, oh you.

Necrotic Albino Rabbit is the name of my new band.
That nurse’s name wouldn’t happen to be Rory Williams, would it?
Ahahahahaha…. You’re awesome.
*squeeeeeeeee*
Man, I like the doctor. He’s a good guy.
Well, they do. U_U
He’s a doctor first and a judge of character second. LIKE A BOSS.
doctor who reference: unrecognized
I like this new tool of expositon of yours, what’s his name? I especially like how you made him look somewhat evil yet he is the nicest guy seen in a long time, fuck Disney
Are you talking about Dr. Peterson? He’s not new.
Really, does he look somewhat evil? I was just thinking homely. Like that one uncle everyone has.
Homely people are evil. Hollywood says so. The only times they aren’t evil is when they were Beautiful All Along or they’re the hero’s sidekick who gets killed so the audience knows Things Are Getting Serious.
Lol, nice. ;)
While that is true, according to Hollywood you cannot be too beautiful, either – because then you are certainly evil.
Did Schtein’s grandfather genetically engineer him????
boy, if he did, he sure didn’t do a good job. :y
The only thing that could express properly what I feel about this page is :
O.O
I like the tubby with the tie. He’s good people.

OH man, I knooow, right?? Every time I see him I fall deeper in love.
Gah–Panel 5 Panel 5 Panel 5! <3 <3 <3
He’s not dead yet! <3 Thank you.
I love it when you send me to the dictionary.
HO GOSH GRANDPA ORVILLE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR GRAN’BEBE BOY
I like this page. It is dense in plot points and that juicy info that we’ve all been waiting to find out! I hope the Cubs made it out of Chicago…
Heyyy, that’s my town! Orville, you big jerk! >:I
Hey hey hey hey! Mymy, do we have some Mad Scientist Syndrome here, perhaps~?

Is that..implied experimentation on a child? No wonder he’s so messed up.
That doctor has the best mouth ever. Fantastic face design.
