Chapter 9, Page 23
It’s just a li’l relapse! It’s fine!
So, big news, I reopened my Patreon: patreon.com/DirkGrundy
There’s only one tier, it’s 4 bucks a month and you get pages ahead of time, the pencils, possibly the inks if anyone wants them. I know sometimes people like to see those? Speak up if you do! I’ve already been posting to it all week so it’s got that for this page, and I’m abouuutttt to post the pencils for the next page after this one. Plus obviously I’ll be posting other art as well, like big finished bonus pieces and concept art for future story arcs.
Not just that, but I am also working on two other projects. I may have posted slightly about them on Bluesky, but one is a zelda fanzine that I fully expect to finish probably by this summer, and the other is a horror game that’s obviously going to take way longer, but I’ll be posting art for that on my patreon as I work on it. It’s a point and click so it’s going to involve a LOT of background art. So if you like seeing me draw spooky scenery of abandoned hospitals you’re in luck there. The zelda fanzine right now I’m working on pixel art for it, but soon I’ll be moving onto normal art stages. What I’m doing there is basically a fake game manual for an NES game that doesn’t exist. It’s also a little love letter to the Minish Cap, which is one of my favorite Zeldas.
Anyway, that’s enough blabbing from me, check it out if you want! It helps support the site, keeping it online and adfree. :D
Schtein can have a little relapse, as a treat.
I’m honestly surprised that this comic is not more well known!
I know that Schtein is meant to become some big bad super villain eventually, but he honestly seems less of a bad guy than at the beginning. I liked how he was a pathetic, creepy dickhead with a chip on his shoulder at the start, but since the prison arc started he became all handsome and bold.
I hope it doesn’tt sound like I’m whining, since this is a free and very good comic series, but I liked when Schtein was more like “Dr. Horrible if he was a true asshole” more.
this is funny to me because I know where the comic is going.
also handsome and bold. lmao
Well, not so much in this page. ;-)
Honestly, considering how many other shady or downright horrible (and unredeemable) people exist on that fictional Earth, Herville is more of an “unintentional accidental criminal”.
Agreed
