Page Twentyfour
Nobody needed to see that toilet.
Oh, hahah, I almost forgot to mention, if you notice on the right there, I’ve made a new donation wallpaper. And this time I did it… like in a smart way, and donating takes you to a folder full of different resolutions, or the full worksize file if you want to crop it yourself for whatever reason (icons, you know, whatever), or if you want to print it out or something I dunno.
Also last year’s wallpaper is in there if you’re feeling nostalgic for when I was not as good of an artist as I am at the moment.
Best thing about last year’s wallpaper is that it’s set in the scene I’m starting right now! :y
How long has he been in prison now?
Ffffiiiirrst?
Who IS this mysterious, pudgy man come to visit Schtein?
It’s Leon Auditore? :D
My guess is it’s the male nurse Doctor Peterson said he was going to send. http://www.stringtheorycomic.com/comics/chapter-three/page-twenty-2/
Professor Langstrom’s boyfriend?
When you have nothing else to do, there’s lots and lots of math that needs solving
There is always math that needs solving.
But what math is he solving?
I see a chi, tau, rho, and psi. Is psi electric flux? Is it a wave function? Is rho charge density? Or is it resistivity? Is chi electric susceptibility? Is H magnetic field intensity? Are these merely random symbols? Is this a diabolical plot to get me to study for my finals?
Yay for details that are going to stick with me for the rest of the day!
” Is this a diabolical plot to get me to study for my finals?”
Yeah, that one. XD
I really love the backgrounds on this one c:
I LOVE her facial expressions! So malevolent!
Wow! Every page doc turns cuter and cuter!
Umm… your comics – i’m loving it!
The bit that I love the most about this page is the Doc’s feet in the last panel.
Goddammit, can’t you see he’s busy doing SCIENCE?
Is that comment supposed to invoke images of Dr. Insano?
It does now. =D
Yeah, way to stand on your principals there, Warden. Cushy job versus the torture of that fellow that killed your brother. Way to stick to your guns!
But, I guess if you can’t whup it, go down, go down.
Back already from crazy scientist detective adventures?
I’m really liking the warden for standing up to Kevin here. And GOD! that last panel is hot. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I love how Schtein is leaning away from the light. Amazing composition. I need a screencap of it.
On a kinda related note, is Kevin’s speech in panel four blurry, or is that my eyes being wonky?
Also, I’m really looking forward to this scene. I loves me some character development. :D
Looks gibberishish to me. I teach fluid mechanics and this looks fishy. The orb acceleration equation looks right until you look at the units: left m^2, right: m/s^2. These are not the same.. oh wait, but maybe you can make them the same… WITH SCIENCE!!!! :)
Gotta agree with Charlizarts, those are some Very expressive feet. Great job on that Creator
Of course it’s gibberish. I’m not a math person in the least. Actually I had to copy these off of a paper on entropy or something. And I kind of skipped around just for longer ones. And they’re out of order, and missing vital ? = ? bits. :D
No! Becky! The math is wrong! My suspense of disbelief is RUINED! FOREVER!
Witty reaction ruined by misspelling author’s name~!
it’s okay, everyone spells my name wrong. :Y
And Beckey, too.
See, we’ve learned a valuable lesson today about pedantry. Next time, simpy make the wall a big blur and print the worlds “COMPLICATED MATHS” on the wall. This will shield you from such assaults.
Dat math.
Oh man, the warden’s creeperface in the first panel. XD
i find it strange that part of me is imagining him hissing at the light
light can be evil when you finally get your eyes adjusted to darkness
Keep in mind that he sees in black and white, so it may not be as bad for him.
Am I the only one wondering HOW HE WROTE ON THE WALL?
I see no chalk nor rocks nor sharp pointy things in which to scratch things into other things.
Also he has been keeping his nails trim, so he didn’t use those either.
scratching the walls is probably what’s keeping his nails trimmed down.
So he writes with his feet too? hahahahah
There’s a certain degree of fury present in the warden that I find reassuring enough to make me believe she’d throat-stomp anybody she had the opportunity and reason to.
Why is the warden digging her way deeper and deeper into my heart with each page she’s in.
How are you doing this.
I see that. I see that subtle bird flyin’ high in panel 2. Beckey, the hands you draw have always been wiggy and expressive. Now we see a subtle application of your art :3
Also, apparently when physical threats and personal fluffing fail, you go for the purse strings. That is how it is done!!
Wow. I have to say, I just found your comic less than two hours ago, and have read through the entire thing and already am SO hooked. I really need to read more of this now. It’s also VERY nice to see some people still update regularly… Like comics should be updated.
:) Looking forward to much, much more from you. Please, keep it coming.
Impressive perspective in the 5th panel. No easy task – at least in my book haha.
Ahem. Last panel. “My preciouussss” fits in quite well. but only if he had his gloves. I miss his gloves!!
I’m loving the warden’s mouth in those first two panels. So expressive!
Also, Schtein, you look like a cornered rat. Calm down a bit man.
And maybe take a bath. You’re looking kinda grungy.
